This exhibit makes it easy for everyone to become a sculptor. The Pin Screen has over a thousand pins that move between two panels. When the exhibit user presses his/her face on the pins, each pin move forward according to the shape of the face. The result is a three dimensional impression, the image produced at the opposite side has a remarkable likeness to the face. The play of shadows on the pins further enhance the three dimensional effect. Tilting the frame downward erases the image and readies the pins for another impression.
